Le droit international des investissements en général et les rapports entre Etats et investisseurs étrangers en particulier, sont des exemples manifestes de cette loi d’airain. International Investment Law, like any field of law, is quite obviously a matter of power and balance of powers. Hence, any changes in the balance of powers will unsurprisingly lead to changes in the law. International Investment Law in general and the relations between States and foreign investors in particular, are a clear example of this iron law. Where does this evolution stand, what are its modalities, what new balance of interests is in place and what are its chances of achieving a (relatively) stable equilibrium?
